COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR
ACCOUNTANT MARY TATAREK
WHEREAS, Mary Tatarek has retired from the Mounds View Finance Department
effective April 22, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 249.65 as of April 29,
2011; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 320.15 hours as
of April 29, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mary Tatarek's current rate of pay is $31.05 per hour; and
WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of vacation time will be 249.65 hours
x $31.05 $7,751.63; and
WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of sick time will be 320.15 hours x 65% x
$31.05 $6,461.43; and
WHEREAS, $14,213.06 will be contributed to Mary Tatarek's Retirement Health
Savings Plan in accordance with the 2010 -2011 AFSCME Labor Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one -time payout of vacation time not to exceed $7,751.63 into Mary Tatarek's
Retirement Health Saving Plan in accordance with the 2010 -2011 AFSCME Labor
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council approves a one -time payout of sick time to Ms. Tatarek's Retirement Health
Savings Plan not to exceed $6,461.43, consistent with the 2010 -2011 AFSCME Labor
Agreement.
