CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION
OF SIGNAGE AT THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, at the April 25, 2011 City Council meeting, the City Council discussed
the possibility of adding signage to better identify the location of the Mounds View
Community Center to visitors; and,
WHEREAS, City staff obtained three quotes from sign vendors to create and install
lettering just under the uppermost roofline of the southern face of the Mounds View
Community Center; and,
WHEREAS, JDI Signs Graphics submitted the lowest cost bid to the City in the
amount of $1,860.00 plus permit fees; and,
WHEREAS, funding for the creation and installation of the sign lettering would be
paid for by Bethlehem Baptist Church's January 28, 2011 donation to the Mounds View
Economic Development Authority; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council does
hereby authorize JDI Signs Graphics to create and install signage for the Mounds View
Community Center at a price not to exceed $2,000.00.
