STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES FOR GROUPED MAIBOXES FOR
THE 2012 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT—AREA E
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council will be approving plans/specs at a
future City Council Meeting for the 2012 Street and Utility Improvement Project—Area E
and;
WHEREAS, grouped mailboxes are installed as part of a street improvement
project, and supplied and fabricated by Public Works staff, and;
WHEREAS, Staff has received 2 quotes for lumber to construct the mailbox
posts, and;
WHEREAS, Scherer Brothers Lumber Company quoted an amount of
$14,368.19, and;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the purchase of mailboxes and the lumber to construct the necessary
mailbox posts from Scherer Brothers Lumber Company for$14,368.19 to be funded
from account number 410-4650-7050 with a maximum budget amount for all supplies
not to exceed $15,804.38
