This item was tabled at the EDA meeting on January 9, 1995. The resolution did not
designate the staggered terms per Municipal Code Chapter 408.03, Subdivision 1, entitled
Economic Develo�ment Commission, Composition. ,"Beginning January 1995, three members
shall serve a one year term, two members shall serve two year terms and two member� shall
serve three year terms. Thereafter, members shall serve three year staggered terms, with terms
expiring December 31 of each year." In addition, the resolution did not appoint an EDA liaison
to the EDC. �
The corrected resolution reappointes three business representatives and four residents as
members of the Economic Development Commission with staggered terms expiring December
31, 1995, 1996 and 1997. In addition, per President Linlce, Commissioner Sue Hanlcner has been
designated as the EDA liaison to the EDC with Commissioner Gary Quicic as the alternate.

RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING MEMBERS OF TH� ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIOT�f I-�i��
DESIGNATING AN EDA LIAISON
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission acts as an advisory commission tc� �.�.-:�;
Economic Development Authority (EDA) on matters that relate to fostering a positive economic climate,
encouraging economic development, and enhancing the tax base of the City; and
WHEREAS, the membership of the Economic Development Conunission is comprised of foux
residents and three business representatives; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the below listed persons expired on December 31, 1994; and

Delane Welsch
Mark Malone (Western Banlc)
Ronald Schmidt (Mounds View Amoco)

WHEREAS, each person is interested in being reappointed to the Economic Development
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Authority of the City
of Mounds View hereby reappoints the following persons to the Economic Development Commission for
staggered terms eYpiring as follows:
Rosemary Goff December 31, 1997
Delane Welsch December 31, 1997
Mark Malone (Western Bank) December 31, 1996
Ronald Schmidt (Mounds View Amoco) December 31, 1996

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Economic Development
Authority of the City of Mounds View hereby designates Connmissioner Sue Hankner as the EDA Liaison and
Commissioner Gary Quick as the alternate EDA Liaison with terms expiring December 31, 1995
