CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR
BUILDING OFFICIAL/FIRE MARSHAL KATHI OSMONSON
WHEREAS, effective Friday, May 4, 2012, Kathi Osmonson resigned as Building
Official/Fire Marshal with the City; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 50.97; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 21.09; and
WHEREAS, Kathi Osmonson's rate of pay is $33.65 per hour; and
WHEREAS,the maximum potential payout of sick time will be 50.97 hours x 50%x
$33.65 = $857.57; and
WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of vacation time will be 21.09 hours x
$33.65 = $709.68; and
WHEREAS, a combined total of accrued/unused sick and vacation time, not to
exceed $1,567.25, will be contributed to Kathi Osmonson's Retirement Health Savings
Plan in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves a one-time payout of sick time not to exceed $857.57 into Kathi Osmonson's
Retirement Health Saving Plan in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council approves a one-time payout of vacation time into Kathi Osmonson's Retirement
Health Savings Plan not to exceed $709.68 consistent with the Mounds View Personnel
Manual.
