RESOLUTION NO. 4548
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE IRONDALE HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEAM FOR
THEIR 2ND PLACE FINISH IN THE 10TH ANNUAL MINNESOTA STATE HIGH
SCHOOL MATHEMATICS LEAGUE TOURNAMENT
WHEREAS, 300 contestants from 50 high schools participated
in the 10th annual statewide tournament of the Minnesota High School
Mathematics League at Brooklyn Center High School on April 11, 1994,
and
WHEREAS, Irondale High School led the League in the regular
season, 486 points to 473 for second~place st. Paul Academy, and
.
WHEREAS, Irondale Team Members had placed third two years
ago and second last year, and
WHEREAS, the members of the Irondale Math Team have been
outstanding representatives of Irondale High School through their
display of good sportsmanship and spirit.
NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED that the City council of the
City of Mounds View commends the Irondale Math Team for Their Second
Place Finish in the Minnesota High School Mathematics League
Tournament held on April 11, 1994.
Adopted this 25th day of April, 1994.
