CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A WETLAND ALTERATION PERMIT FOR THE
METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION TO CONSTRUCT THE
BLAINE INTERCEPTOR SANITARY SEWER PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the
request by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) for a
wetland alteration permi t to construct the Blaine Interceptor
sanitary sewer project in a City delineated wetland; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Municipal Code allows
construction in the delineated wetland with the issuance of a
wetland alteration permit; and
WHEREAS, the disturbed portion of the wetland will be
returned to pre-construction conditions following completion of the
project; and
WHEREAS, there will be no other adverse impacts on the
wetland as a result of this construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City
Council approves the requested wetland alteration permit to
construct the Blaine Interceptor sanitary sewer project in a City
delineated wetland.
