RESOLUTION NO. 4557
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CREATION OF CODE ENFORCEMENT
OFFICER/PLANNING ASSOCIATE POSITION
WHEREAS, the departure of the city's Code Enforcement
Officer/Recycling Coordinator has presented an opportunity to
evaluate the duties and responsibilities of that position and how
it can be changed to better fit the needs of the Community; and
WHEREAS, based upon that evaluation and Council direction, staff is
proposing that this position become a Code Enforcement
Officer/Planning Associate position; and
WHEREAS, the primary responsibility of this position would be to
enforce city ordinances, but also to assist the community
Development Coordinator with daily Planning functions; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the position of Code
Enforcement Officer/Planning Associate be created, funding to come
from existing community Development budget 100-4180 and $10,000 to
be transferred from Franchise fee contingency account No. 295-4120-
910 to 295-4120-990 to 100-3971 to 100-4180.
