CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1994 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO SUPPORT
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A MARKETING PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF
MOUNDS VIEW
WHEREAS, the position of Economic Development Coordinator was hired to
implement economic development and marketing goals of both the Focus 2000 and
1994 Council/Staff Strategic Planning Session; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of a marketing program includes the
production of several collateral materials and participation in outreach efforts to
enhance the positive image of Mounds View as a great place to live and work; and
WHEREAS, it is 'necessary to establish a budget to implement the marketing
program for the remainder of 1994; and
WHEREAS, the necessary funds to implement the marketing program are not
budgeted for 1994 thereby making it necessary to appropriate funds from another
account and also amend the 1994 Budget to provide for the lawful accounting of
expenditures in relation to the marketing program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT by the Council of the City of
Mounds View that the 1994 General Fund Budget is hereby amended by the transfer
of $3,200 from account # 100-4500-910 Contingency to account # 100-4120-343
Administration, Printing, and further amends the 1994 budget by the transfer of $750
from account # 100-4500-910 Contingency to account # 100-4120-303
Administration, Professional Services to fund the implementation of the 1994
marketing program for the City of Mounds View.
