CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF JOYCE PRUITT,
PLANNING ASSOCIATE
WHEREAS, the position of Planning Associate was advertised in
several local publications resulting in over 40 candidates applying
for the position; and
WHEREAS, Joyce Pruitt applied for the position and met all of the
qualifications as described in the job announcement; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Pruitt has a Bachelor's degree and a Master.'s degree
from Mankato State University in Urban an~ Regional Studies; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Pruitt also has relevant municipal experience, having
worked for the cities of Eagan and Mankato in their Administration
and community Development Department's; and
WHEREAS, her education and work experience indicate she has the
knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job tasks and duties
of the Planning Associate position; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the interview panel proposes that
Joyce Pruitt be hired for this Planning Associate position starting
Tuesday, June 14, 1994 at $24,960/yr. to be funded out of account
number 100-4180-010 and a $10,000 transfer from the Franchise Fee
contingency account. After 6 months and a satisfactory performance
evaluation, she would be adjusted to $26,520/yr.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this hire is contingent upon successful
completion of a physical examination and drug and alcohol test.
