CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW-
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION TO FORMALLY ACCEPT THE EMERGENCY PLANS FOR
TOWNS EDGE, COLONIAL VILLAGE AND MOUNDS VIEW
MANUFACTURED HOME PARKS
WHEREAS, on January 24,1994, the City Council in and for the City of Mounds
View formally rejected the emergency plans forTowns Edge, Colonial Village and Mounds
View Manufactured Home Parks; and
WHEREAS, the plans emergency plans were rejected due to the. fact that there were
no on-site storm shelters; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View and the manufactured home park
owners/managers met and reached an agreement whereby on-site storm shelters would be
installed per Code; and
WHEREAS, the construction of these on-site storm shelters will be the responsibility
of the manufactured home parks.
NOW, 1lIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View hereby accepts reapproves the pre-existing emergency plans until June 1,
1995.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the construction of the on-site shelters will be
completed be June 1, 1995.
