CITY OF MOUNDS VI~1
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND APPRECIATION TO JERRY LINKE
FOR SERVICE TO THE CITY or MOUNDS VIEW
WHEREAS, on December 31, 1988 Jerry Linke will complete
his term as Mayor of Mounds View after four years in office; and
WHEREAS, prior to being elected Mayor in 1985 Jerry Linke
served two years on the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Jerry Linke has also held appointments to the
City's Parks and Recreation, Planning, and Lakeside Park
Commissions and been a volunteer Youth T-Ball and Youth Softball
Coach; and
WHEREAS, Jerry Linke is an outstanding example of an
individual whose dedication and commitment to their community is
manifested by their participation in the community's activities
and affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Mounds View, on behalf of the residents of Mounds
View, offers its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Jerry
Linke for his dedication and service to the City of Mounds View
and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
Adopted this 27th day of December, 1988.
