RESOLUTION NO. 2466
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND
WHEREAS, a 30 ft. strip of land on the north side of
Hillview Road between Long Lake Road and Woodlawn Drive is
listed on the Ramsey County Property Tax Records as tax
forfeited land; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed
this property and determined that the acquisition of this
parcel would be appropriate for use as a future street'
right-of-way along with the 30 ft. currently owned by the
City directly east of this parcel; and
WHEREAS, the County has advised that the parcel can
be purchased upon receipt of $448.65 and a resolution
authorizing purchase of said parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Mounds View authorizes the purchase of the
parcel of land having the following legal description:
The west 30 feet of Lot 11, Woodlawn Terrace,
Ramsey County, Minnesota (PIN: 05-30-23-32-0019,
forfeited 8-07-79).
for a street right-of-way purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council authorizes
the payment of $448.65 to Ramsey County for the purpose of
purchasing the aforementioned tax forfeited parcel to be
charged to the Silver Lake Woods Fund.
