STATE OF MINNESOTA
COUNlY OF RAMSEY
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND APPRECIATION TO PAT ERLANDSON
WHEREAS, Pat Erlandson become principal of Pinewood Elementary School in
1985; and
WHEREAS, since becoming principal Pat has fostered a spirit of community
among the students and staff of Pinewood that has included greater cooperation and
improved relations with the City; and
WHEREAS, Pat's leadership has led to greater participation in the decisions
affecting Pinewood School by the students, staff and parents; and
WHEREAS, Pat has encouraged the establishment of a Drug Awareness
Resistance Education program at Pinewood in cooperation with the Mounds View
Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Pat will be leaving Pinewood School to advance her career only
after having created an atmosphere that will continue to foster excellence. among the
students and staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View on behalf of the residents of the City of Mounds View, commends Pat
Erlandson for her outstanding work as Principal of Pinewood Elementary School and
wishes her well in her future endeavors.
