<br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 5103 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A WETLAND ALTERATION PERMIT FOR <br />BENSON-ORTH ASSOCIATES, REPRESENTING ZEP MANUFACTURING; <br />PLANNING CASE 475-97 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Benson-Orth Associates has requested City approval to construct a 22,300 <br />square foot, one-story branch sales office and warehouse at 8490 Coral Sea Street, property <br />legally described as: <br /> <br />LOT 1, BLK 1, NORTHSTAR INDUSTRIAL PARK, 2ND ADDITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 1010 of the Mounds View Municipal Code requires that a Wetland <br />Alteration Permit be issued for any work conducted within Wetland Zoning District within the <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the following documents regarding this <br />development proposal: <br /> <br />1. Planning Application dated January 27, 1997 <br />2. Zoning Map <br />3. Letter from ZEP Manufacturing dated January 23, 1997 <br />4. Site, landscape and drainage plans <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the location of the building and parking lot on the site meets all setback <br />requirements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the stormwater detention pond and a portion of the parking lot encroach into <br />the lOO-foot wetland buffer area, but no alteration is proposed to the wetland shown on the City's <br />wetland district map; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer and the Rice Creek Watershed District have reviewed the <br />revised drainage and ponding plan and have determined that it meets the intent of the Municipal <br />Code and that there will be no adverse impacts on the wetland as a result of the proposed <br />development; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />the Wetland Alteration Permit request made by Benson-Orth Associates for ZEP Manufacturing, <br />contingent upon the following: <br />
