CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION DESIGNATION MOUNDS VIEW CITY HALL AS Tl-IE TEMPORARY
POLLING LOCATION FOR THE NOVEMBER 4, 1997 SPECIAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, as required by Minnesota Election Statute 204B.16, the governing body of
each municipality shall designated a polling location for each election precinct; and
WHEREAS, the designated polling location for the City of Mounds View was the Bel-
Rae Ballroom;
WHEREAS, the Bel Rae Ballroom was sold to the City of Mounds View and is currently
under construction; and
WHEREAS, during the interim, the City has designated Mounds View City Hall, 2401
Highway 10, as the temporary polling location for the November 4, 1997 Special Election: and
WHEREAS, future elections in 1998 and thereafter will be held at the new Mounds View
Community Center (previously named "Bel Rae Ballroom"), 5394 Edgewood Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View does hereby designate Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway, as the temporary polling
location for the November 4, 1997 Special Election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, future elections will be held at
5394 Edgcwood Drive.
