CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COOPERATION
AGREEMENT AND INITIAL AGREEMENT WITH
MINNEAPOLIS PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY (MPHA)
AND THE DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT WITH MSP REAL
ESTATE, INC. AND MOUNDS VIEW FAMIL Y HOUSING LLC
FOR TI IE SILVER LAKE COMMONS PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR
TO EXECUTE n IE AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY.
WHEREAS. a development, known as Silver Lake Commons. has been proposed by MSP
Real Estate. Inc. (the Developer) in the City of Mounds View; and
WHEREAS. such development, as presently proposed. requires the participation of the
Minneapolis Public Housing Authority. acting pursuant to a joint powers Initial Agreement and
Cooperation Agreement with the City of Mounds View. as authorized by Minn. Stat. S 471.59;
and
WHEREAS, such development requires the Developer. pursuant to the Mounds View
Municipal Code. to enter into a development contract with the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View. that the Council authorizes the mayor and city administrator to execute the Cooperation
Agreement on behalf of the city; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. by the City Council of the City of Mounds View. that
the Council authorizes the mayor and city administrator to execute the Initial Agreement on
behalf of the city; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED. by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, that the
Council authorizes the mayor and city administrator to execute the Developers Agreement on
behalf of the city.
