CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE WASTEWATER OPERATIONS BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View
has reviewed the current and future maintenance needs of the
Sanitary Sewer System and;
WHEREAS, the City's goal for preventative
maintenance is to assure that individual main lines are cleaned
once every four years which, will decrease the City's liability for
backups and increase the reliability of the system and;
WHEREAS, the maintenance needs of the system can not
be met with the current staffing level and;
WHEREAS, the addition of an entry level position to
the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department is proposed
to fulfill the maintenance requirements of the sanitary system
and;
WHEREAS, a budget transfer and amendment to the
Wastewater Operations Budget is a necessary action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Mounds View does hereby approve a budget amendment
to the Wastewater Operations Budget, transferring $29,940.00 from
the Sewer Reserve Account 730-2600-000 to the Wastewater Operations
Budget 730-4126-000, whereby approving the addition of an entry
level position to the Wastewater Division.
