<br />. <br /> <br />.1. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5256 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1998 PATROL OFFICER CONTRACTI LELS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, representatives from L.E.L.S and City personnel have met and discussed the <br />1998-1999 Union Contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed the 1996-1997 Police Union Compensation Schedule presented in <br />Appendix A, to reflect a 3% annual compensation adjustment for 1998 and 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City continue to make a contribution toward the cost of <br />employee health insurance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City pay a set dollar amount towards the employee POST <br />license. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED THAT: <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Police Union Contract for January 1, 1998 to December 31, 1999, effective January 1, <br />1998; and <br />The 1998 and 1999 base wage for Police Union Personnel shall be as specified in the 1998 <br />Compensation Schedule, Appendix A, effective January I, 1998 and January 1, 1999. <br />The City shall make a contribution of up to $340/mo in years 1998 and $350/mo in 1999 <br />toward the cost of family health insurance, effective January 1, 1998. <br />The City shall contribute $530 for uniform allowance for calendar year 1998 effective <br />January I, 1998 and increase the uniform allowance to $544 in calendar year 1999, effective <br />January I, 1999. <br />The City will pay $45.00 toward the cost of maintaining POST licensure effective January 1, <br />1998. and $90.00 of the cost effective January 1, 1999. <br />An employee who is required to appear in Court during the employee's scheduled off duty <br />time shall receive a minimum of three hours pay at one and one half times the employee's <br />base rate if the majority of the hours worked during the shift fall between 6:00 PM and 6:00 <br />AM.
