CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE
1998 PRIMARY ELECTION AND GENERAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is rcquired by law to hold a Primary and
General/Municipal Election; and
WHEREAS, any individual who is eligible to vote in an election precinct is qualified to bc
appointed as an election judge for that precinct; and
WHEREAS, no more than halfofthc clectionjudges working on any given shift may be
membcrs of the same political party; and
WHEREAS, all proposed election judges listed on the attached sheet have met all of the State
qualifications for the position of election judge.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View
does hereby ratify the appointment of election judges made by the Mayor on September 14,1998.
Said appointments arc attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED that the City Council ofthc City of Mounds View authorizes thc
Clerk-Administrator to appoint an clectionjudge whcrc there is a vacancy, ifnecessary.
