CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOGNITION OF THE ABOLITION OF TWO POSITIONS WlTWN
THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTMENT DUE TO THE OUTSOURCING OF THE CITY PARKS
AND RECREA nON DEPARTMENT FOR BUDGETARY REASONS
WHEREAS. the CitY of Mounds View is eliminating the City's Parks and R~creation
Department for budgetary reasons; and
WHEREAS. the elimination of me City's Parks and Recreation Department for budgetary
reasons will eliminate the positions of the Parks and Rccreanon Director and the Recreation
. Programs Supervisor; and
WHEREAS. the Mounds View Municipal Code provides in the situation of the abolition
of a position that two (2) wc:eks' advance written notice shall be given.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOL VEn THAT the City Council of the City of
Mounds View abolishc:s the po:>ltions of the Parks and Recreation Director and the Recreation
Programs Supervisor in the City of Mounds View's Parks and Recreation Department for
budgetary reasons.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Council directs
CitY staff to provide the appropriate notice of such Council action. pursuant to Municipal Code
Section 307.01. to the affected c:mploye~s.
