RESOLUTION NO. 4219
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING NO CHANGE IN PRECINCT BOUNDARIES FOR THE
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AS A RESULT OF THE STATE REDISTRICTING PLAN
WHEREAS, the State's redistricting plan has been
approved; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View, was split into two
Legislative districts in the past, 52A and 52B which split the
City into 2 precincts in 52A and two precincts in 52B; and
WHEREAS, the State requires that a precinct contain no
more than one legislative district; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the redistricting the entire
City of Mounds View became encapsulated in legislative district
52B; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city Council
of the City of Mounds View confirms that there is no change to
precinct boundaries and the entire City of Mounds View is
encapsulated in legislative district 52B.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the
city of Mounds View designated the Bel-Rae Ballroom as the single
Designated Polling Place per Resolution No. 4183 (copy attached)
for the City of Mounds View.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the polling place for the
April 7, 1992 Presidential Primary Election is the Bel-Rae
Ballroom.
Adopted this 13 day of April, 1992.
