WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement prepared for the remodeling and construction of
an addition to CitV Hall, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
complying bids are summarized on the attached Exhibit A; and

WHEREAS,' it appears that Mikkelson-Wulff Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder; and I

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CITY HALL
ADDITION AND REMODELING CONTRACT
WHEREAS,I Mikkelson-Wulff Construction, Inc. has requested that it be allowed to withdraw
its bid; and
I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View as
follows: I
1. The Irequest by Mikkelson-Wulff Construction, Inc. to withdraw its bid is
denied; and
I

The Ibid of Mikkelson-Wulff Construction, Inc. is accepted and the Mayor
and City Administrator are authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
MikKelson-Wulff Construction, Inc. according to the plans and specifications
I
approved by the City Council for the project; and
I
The City Administrator is authorized and directed to return to all bidders the deposits
ma~e with their bids, except the deposits of the lowest bidder and the next two
lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed; and
I
In the event that Mikkelson-Wulff Construction, Inc. fails to execute a contract with
I
the ~ity in a timely manner, the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized
and I directed to take the appropriate action to make a claim against the bid bond
submitted by Mikkelson-Wulff Construction, Inc.
