CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECYCLING GRANT REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY
WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of
SCORE funds to improve recycling participation by the public; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a
grant to provide administrative and promotional activities
intended to improve recycling participation among city residents
through education, awareness, and incentives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has
determined that this is an appropriate use of city resources and
that increasing recycling participation benefits the public
health, safety, and welfare of the community as a whole.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED to approve the application for
1995 SCORE funding (attached) and authorize acceptance of any
allocated funding.
