RESOLUTION NO. 4665
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF LAURIE MEZERA-KERR TO FILL THE
VACANT TEMPORARY, PART-TIME RECYCLING INTERNSHIP POSITION
WHEREAS, when the City's Code Enforcement Officer/Recycling Coordinator departed
in April of this year, the Council responded to the needs of the community by creating
a Planning Associate position that would do full-time code enforcement; and
WHEREAS, the other duties and responsibilities of that position, recycling, have been
partially performed since this reassignment by other members of the Community
Development Department to keep the program operating; and
WHEREAS, in order to fully resume these duties and responsibilities, the City Council
adopted Resolution 4637 which approved the filling of this vacant position; and
WHEREAS, an announcement advertising the availability of the position was placed
in various publications, applications were received and candidates were interviewed;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the position of Recycling Intern be filled by
Laurie Mezera-Kerr, funding to come from Ramsey County SCORE grant budgeted in
290-4121-010.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED this would be a part-time position, up to 19 hours per
week, earning $8/hr. with no benefits.
