CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM FRANCHISE
FEE ACCOUNT FOR PURCHASE OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR
POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, technology has made it possible to process information more
efficiently and effectively, thus making City employees more productive;
and
WHEREAS, it has been past practice of the Mounds View City Council to
support a progressive philosophy in the area of computers and related
peripherals; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department has a need for three
personal computers, a printer and desk to more efficiently and safely
conduct their business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that $9,000 be transferred from
Franchise Fee Contingency Account No. 295-4120-910-000 to General
Fund Account No. 100-3971 to Police Department Account No. 100-
4200-703 for the purchase of this computer equipment.
