RESOLUTION NO. 4672
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE -OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MINOR SUBDIVISION REQUEST OF
THE ESTATE OF ARLIEN NEWTON, 8300 FAIRCHILD AVENUE,
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the
proposed minor subdivision request by the Estate of Arlien Newton
for the property located at 8300 Fairchild Avenue, legally known
as: Lot 5, Block 1, Gustafson's 1st Addition, Ramsey County,
Minnesota; and, that part of Lot 68, Auditor's subdivision No.
89, Ramsey County, Minnesota described as beginning at the
Northeast corner of said Lot 68; thence West along the North line
of said Lot 68 a distance of 240.10 feet to the Southwest corner
of Lot 5, Block 1, Gustafson's 1st Addition; thence South along
the southerly extension of the West line of said Lot 5 a distance
of 95.07 feet; thence East 240.10 feet to a point on the East
line of said Lot 68, which point is 95.07 feet South from the
Northeast corner of said Lot 68; thence North along said East
line 95.07 feet to the point of beginning; and, that part of Lot
68, Auditor's Subdivision No. 89, Ramsey County, Minn., described
as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 68;
thence South along the East line of said Lot 68 to the
intersection of a line lying 10 feet Southerly of and parallel
with a line running from a point of said East line, 95.07 feet
South of said Northeast corner to a point on the West line of
said Lot 68, 95.07 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Lot
68, said intersection being the point of beginning; thence West
along said parallel line to the East line of the West 218.1 feet
of said Lot 68; thence North along said East line to the first
described line above; thence East along said line to the East
line of said Lot 68; thence South along said East line to the
point of beginning; and
WHEREAS, each of the proposed lots meet minimum lot
standards as set forth in Titles 1100 and 1200 of the Mounds View
Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
City Council approves the minor subdivision request by the Estate
of Arlien Newton, 8300 Fairchild Avenue, contingent upon the
following:
1. This resolution and certificate of Survey be recorded
with Ramsey County within sixty (60) days of final
adoption.

2. The applicant pay the all applicable park dedication
fees.
Adopted this 29th-day of November, 1994.
