RESOLUTION NO. 4703
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
ST ATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING NORTHRIDGE PROPERTIES PARTNERSHIP
APPLICATION FOR MINNESOTA HOUSING FINANCE AUTHORITY FUNDING
FOR REHABILITATION OF WOODLAWN TERRACE.
WHEREAS, Norhtridge Properties Partnership, owners of Woodlawn Terrace, are
requesting assistance from Minnesota Housing Financing Authority (MHFA) for the
rehabilitation of seven buildings located on Woodlawn Drive in the City of Mounds View;
and
WHEREAS, MHFA's goal is to provide funding for the rehabilitation of rental units
to support affordable, decent, safe and energy efficient housing for lower income families;
and
WHEREAS, Woodlawn Terrace apartments houses over 100 low to moderate income
families in Mounds View, and
WHEREAS, Woodlawn Terrace is targeted by the City of Mounds View as part of
the project area in critical need of rehabilitation, and
WHEREAS, Rehabilitation of existing multi-family units benefits the entire
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and for the
City of Mounds View does hereby support Northridge Properties Partnership application for
Minnesota Housing Finance Authority funding to rehabilitate Woodlawn Terrace.
