<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4729 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE JOINT DISTRICT 621/ <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ALLIANCE TASK FORCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, School District 621 Board members have requested that the City and <br />the District explore ways to identify educational needs of students attending Pinewood <br />and Sunnyside Elementary Schools; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is interested in exploring opportunities to assist the District in <br />meeting the needs of Mounds View students; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the District Board and the City Council that <br />an Alliance Task Force be created to identify needs, determine best courses of action <br />and make recommendations to the Board and the City. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the February 27th Council meeting, Resolution No. 4718 was <br />approved by Council to establish the Alliance Task Force; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has discussed the City's representation on the Task Force <br />to be: <br /> <br />Councilmember Trude, representing the City Council; Councilmember Blanchard <br />as Alternate <br />Councilmember Hankner, serving as Commissioner of the Economic Development <br />Authority, Councilmember Quick as Alternate and <br />Dan Nelson, representing the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and for the City <br />of Mounds View does hereby approve the appointments of Councilmember Trude, <br />Councilmember Blanchard (alternate), Councilmember Hankner, Councilmember Quick <br />(alternate) and Dan Nelson to the 621/City Alliance Task Force. <br /> <br />Adopted this 20th day of March, 1995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
