RESOLUTION NO. 4749
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF MIKE MUELLER,
GOLF COURSE GROUNDS SUPERINTENDENT
WHEREAS, the position of Golf Course Grounds Superintendent was
advertised in several local publications; and
WHEREAS, 11 candidates applied for the position, 8 of whom were
interviewed; and
WHEREAS, Mike Mueller was one of the candidates who applied for the
position and was interviewed based on his credentials; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mueller has an Associates degree in biology from
Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato and has taken classes in turf
management at the University of Minnesota at Waseca; and
WHEREAS, His work experience has been with the Montgomery Golf
Club, where he has worked for almost seven years, four of those
years as the head superintendent; and
WHEREAS, His education and past work experience indicate he has the
knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job tasks and duties
of the position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the interview panel proposes
Mike Mueller be hired for this Golf Course Grounds Superintendent
position starting Monday, April 24, 1995, at an annual salary of
$25,000 to be paid out of Golf Course Account No. 750-4601-020.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this hire is contingent upon successful
completion of a physical examination and drug test.
