RESOLUTION NO. 4792
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMBERSHIP IN THE ANOKA COUNTY CHAMBER
OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, The Anoka County Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization of
civic and business people working together to provide business leadership to strengthen
communities in the North Metro Region; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View borders Anoka County on both the West and
North sides of the City; and
WHEREAS, membership in the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce fulfills the
goals of the Council to take a regional approach to economic development activities, and
WHEREAS, membership in the Anoka County Chamber allows Mounds View schools
to be eligible for scholarship funds, participation in monthly business meetings and
participation in the mentor program, and
WHEREAS, annual dues for membership in 1995 is $195.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council in and for the
City of Mounds View does hereby authorize membership in the Anoka County Chamber of
Commerce; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City does hereby approve and authorize
payment of membership dues for 1995 from Business Retention and Development Account #
100-4530-361 in the amount of $195.
