CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVAL OF THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE
POSITION OF GOLF COURSE MANAGER TO
CLUB HOUSE SUPERVISOR
WHEREAS, Mr. Brus Von Ende was hired as the Clubhouse Manager/Instructor
for the Bridges Golf Course on March 1, 1995; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the golf course management reorganization subsequent
to the resignation of the course's superintendent Kurt Johnson, Mr. Von Ende was
reclassified on May 1, 1995 as the Golf Course Manager/Instructor; and
WHEREAS, after assessing Mr. Von Ende's performance in this position as well
as the overall management structure of the organization, it has been determined that the
best organizational structure for the management of the Bridges Golf Course can be
attained by a reclassification of Mr. Ende's position of Golf Course Manager to the
position of Club House Supervisor/Instructor; and
WHEREAS, this reclassification shall commence, effective September 1, 1995,
terminate no later than December 15, 1995, be considered a temporary position; and
WHEREAS, compensation for the reclassified position shall be $1,000 per month
with pro-rated benefits; and
WHEREAS, the compensation for instruction will remain the same as prior to this
reclassification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council in and for the City of
Mounds View does hereby approve the reclassification of the Golf Course
Manager/Instructor position to that of Clubhouse Supervisor/Instructor at a monthly
compensation of $1,000, effective September 1, 1995 and Terminating no later than
December 15, 1995.
Adopted this 5th day of September, 1995.
