CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4736 APPROVING
A CONTINGENCY FUND TRANSFER TO THE POLICE CRIME
PREVENTION ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City's D.A.R.E. Officer, Tom Baumgart, proposed a plan to
secure, via community and individual donations, a vehicle from Saturn of St. Paul,
Mounds View dealer, which is a dedicated D,A.R.E./Community Oriented Policing
Vehicle; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain the car by the date of March 23, 1995, it was
necessary to secure $4,000 in an interfund transfer from the Contingency Account to
the Crime Prevention Account, 100-4202-303; and
WHEREAS, to better trace the revenues and expenditures of the D.A.R.E. fund
it is advantageous for the City to transfer the $4,000 from the 100-4202-303 fund to
the D.A.R.E. fund, 260-4120-703; and
WHEREAS, all transactions regarding D.A.R.E. should be placed into Fund 260
and its appropriate accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View does hereby authorize the transfer of the $4,000 in account number
100-4202-303 to the D.A,R.E. account 260-4120-703 to better facilitate the tracing of
revenues and expenditures for this account.
