RESOLUTION NO. 4835
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
WHEREAS, the Community Development Coordinator assumed the responsibilities of
overseeing the Engineering Division and Community Development Department in 1993; and
WHEREAS, at that time the organizational plan was to review the classification of the
Community Development Coordinator and evaluate his perfonnance with the purpose of
reclassifying to Community Development Director upon satisfactory evaluation; and
WHEREAS, Paul Harrington's performance as Community Development
Coordinator has been exemplary; and
WHEREAS, reclassifying the position from Community Development Coordinator to
Community Development Director is consistent with the management goals of the
organization and more closely identifies duties and responsibilities with job classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council in and for the City
of Mounds View does hereby reclassify the position of Community Development Coordinator
to Community Development Director effective January 1, 1996 with the following 5 step
compensation plan:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Paul Harrington will commence his new
reclassification at Step 1, effective 1/1/96 and advance through the Step Plan according to
City policy.
Adopted this 13th day of November, 1995.
