RESOLUTION NO. 4840
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING MARY TATAREK AS INTERIM FINANCE
COORDINATOR AND APPROVING INTERIM COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, the departure of the City's Finance Director requires action to
declare an interim person in charge of the Finance Department until such time that a
new Finance Director is employed; and
WHEREAS, the most senior person, Mary Tatarek, has agreed to take on the
responsibilities of the lead person in the Finance Department; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish an interim classification of Finance
Coordinator and establish a compensation package in conjunction with the
classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council in and for the City
of Mounds View that the following actions are hereby approved:
1. The classification of Interim Finance Coordinator is hereby established.
2. Mary Tatarek is hereby appointed Interim Finance Coordinator.
3, The compensation for this position will be an additional $750 per month.
4. Mary Tatarek's position as Accountant and Interim Finance Coordinator
will be reevaluated subsequent to the new City Administrator's review for
the purpose of a permanent reclassification consistent with the new
administrator's structure of the Finance Department.
5. The compensation is effective 11-13-95 and will terminate upon the
commencement of employment of the new Finance Director.
