RESOLUTION NO. 5363
Authorize Golf Course Assistant Superintendent position.
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
County of Ramsey
State of Minnesota
WHEREAS, thc City needs to attract and retain quaJity staff to make its goJf course successful;
WHEREAS, the City detennined that due to the extended hours of operations and the need for a
knowledgeable and dependable individuaJ to backup the Superintendent that it is in the best interests of
the City to have a salaried Assistant Superintendent position; and
,"VHEREAS, thc City authorized said position in J 998, however the position has been vacant [or over a
year.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City CounciJ of the City of Mounds View that City
reestablish the Assistant Superintendent position and set the maximum salary for the position for 1999 at
$28,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is authorized to advertise, screen, interview and hire an
individuaJ to fill this position as soon as practicable.
Said resolution was declared to have been duJy passed and adopted this 23rd day of August, 1999.
