STATE or MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF AARON PARRISH AS ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
WHEREAS. the position of Economic Developmcnt Coordinator was advertised in
scveralloeal publications resulting in 4 candidates applying for the position; and
WHEREAS. Aaron Parrish applied J<)r the position and met all of the qualiticatiolls as
described in the position announcement; and
WHEREAS, 1\1r. Parrish has a Bachelor of Arts (kgrce from Hamline; and
WHEREAS. Mr. Parrish also has relevant economic development andll1ullicipaI
experience, having interned for the cities of Andover, Mankato, and Oakdalc: and
WHEREAS. his education and work experience indicate he has the knowledge. skills and
abilities to perform the job tasks and duties of the Economic Development Coordinator position.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, that Aaron Parrish bc hired for the Economic
Development Coordinator position starting December IS. J 999 at step one of the 1999 salary
scheduk ($3057.04 per month)
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that such hire is contingent upon the successful
completion of a physical examination. background check and drug and alcohol test.
