RESOLUTION NO. 5399

ADOPTING THE 2000 PR(WERTY TAX LEVY AND GENERAL FOND B1JDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted numerous meetings, made available detailed copies of
said budget and published summary information on the proposed 2000 Budget in the City newsletter;
and
WHEREAS. the City Council held a public hearing in accordance with the State of Minnesota Truth
In Taxation requiremcnts on the proposed 2000 Budgct on December 6. 1999: and
WHEREAS, when the Fire Improvelll~nt Bonds of 1991 were issued. the City's 2000 debt service
payment was scheduled to be $100.776. hO\vever. due to changes in the allocation of costs between
participating cities. Mounds View's actual 2000 debt service cost on said bonds will be $73.755.
NO\V THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that
the following appropriations for the calendar year 2000 are hereby approved:

Fire
Streets

Recreation

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that following property tax levy for 2000 is hereby approved:

Total 2000 property tax levy

and the City Clerk-Administrator is hereby directed to notify Ramsey County and the State of
Minnesota of said 2000 property tax levy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED. that Attachment A. the 2000 budget and long term financial plan
detail are hereby incorporated with and included as part of this resolution.
Said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this J 3th day of December. 1999.
