CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE REAPPOINTMENT OF DONN WISKl AS
CHAIR OF TJ-JE TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Donn Wiski has served as the Transportation Advisory Board chair for
the past thrce and one-half ycars; and
WHEREAS, Chair Wiski has served on the Transportation Advisory Board for six
ycars; and
WHEREAS. Chair Wiski's professional background incJudes 25 years in
transportation planning; and
WI IEREAS. Chair Wiski was planning dircctor for the City of Duluth: and
WHEREAS. Chair Wiski has experiencc in local government including terms as
mayor and council member in Roscville: and
WIIEREAS, Chair Wiski is working vcry ctfectively with the Metropolitan Council
as it strives to mcet the goals outlincd in the Regional Blucprint; and
WHEREAS, undcr his leadership, Chair Wiski has worked to include rcprescntativcs
oLtllmodes of transpOltation on the Transportation Advisory Board: and
WI IEREAS. Chair Wiski has supported and strengthened the comprehensive.
continuing. and cooperative transportation planning process in the Metropolitan Area.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
IYlounds View supports the reappointment of Donn Wiski as Transportation Advisory Board
Chairperson.
