RESOLUTION NO. 5427
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE COMPENSATION POLICY FOR
EMPLOYEES SERVING IN INTERIM MANAGEMENT EMPLOYMENT
CAPACITIES
WHEREAS, the City will from time to time have vacancies in management and
department head positions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may select an appropriate employee to serve in an
interim capacity to meet the needs of the vacant position;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
sets the policy to compensate such employees at 115% of their current rate of
pay for service performed during the interim, The employee shall perform the
additional duties to the best of their abilities as the Council determines. The
Council may choose to end the interim status should performance be determined
by the Council to not be adequate for any reason. This policy will apply only to
employees serving as interim department head or city administrator positions.
Adopted this 2ih Day of March 2000.
