CITY OF MOUNDS VIE\V
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOGNITION OF THE ABOLITION OF A PART-TIME CUSTODIAL
POSITION \VITI-IIN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIE\V AND THE
AUTHORIZATION TO CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICES DUE TO A
CHANGE IN THE CITY'S NEEDS
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eliminating a part-time custodial position in the
City Hall offices because it no longer meets the City's needs; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to outsource such custodial services and has previously
requested that interested pm1ies submit proposals to provide custodial services by contract to the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED B'{ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOUNDS VIEW, YfTNNESOT A, AS FOLLOWS:
l, The recitals set fOJ1h in this resolution are incorporated into and made a part of this
resolution.
2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View abolishes the part-time custodial
position because such position no longer meets the City's needs.
3. The City Council authorizes the entering into of a contract for custodial services
with Coverall Cleaning Concepts, by such contract as determined to be in the best interests of the
City.
4. The Mayor, City Clerk-Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized
and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to
accomplish the intent of this resolution.
