RESOLUTION NO. 5457
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE
2000 PRIMARY ELECTION AND GENERAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is required by law to hold a State Primary
and General Municipal Election; and
WHEREAS, any individual who is eligible to vote in an election precinct is
qualified to be appointed as an election judge for that precinct; and
WHEREAS, no more than half of the election judges working on any given shift
may be members of the same political party; and
WHEREAS, all proposed election judges listed on the attached sheet have met
all of the State qualifications for the position of election judge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View does hereby ratify the appointment of election judges made by the Mayor
on August 14, 2000. Said appointments are attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View
authorizes the City Clerk-Administrator to appoint additional election judges should
there be a need.
