CITY OF .\IOVNDS VIEW
County of Ramsey
State of Minnesota
A resolution setting forth a tentative timetable for preparing and adopting the 2001 budget
and long term financial plan.
WHEREAS, the City's Charter and Code. as wcll as State Statutes set forth various requirements
for considering and adopting the City's budget; and
\VHEREAS. Section 7.04 of the City Charter requires the City Clerk-Administrator to submit to
the Council a budget calendar to be established by resolution.
l\"OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Mounds View,
Minnesota that the following budget and long term financial plan calendar is hereby adopted:
August 21 - Sept II Counci I review of budgct and LTFP:
August 21 ,1 \vork session
August 28111 - 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
September 5111 work session
September 11111 work session
Council adopts preliminary budget and maximum levy.
Additional Council meetings as needed.
City distributes budget ncwsletter.
Council holds infollllationalmeeting on the 2001 budget & LTFP.
Truth in taxation hcaring
Adoption of 200 1 budget. tax levy and 2000 LTFP
