RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE PUBLIC WORKS
BARGAINING UNIT CONTRACT 2001 -2002
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Mounds View does hcreby ratify the Public
Works Bargaining Unit Contract for the years 2001 and 2002. with the following amendments.

. H.
Wage increase for 2001 is 3o,.~1 for all classitications
Wage increase for 2002 is 4~~) for all classitications
Safety shoe allotment will be $90 for 2001. SIOO for 2002
Jacket allotment will be $85 for the term of the contract
Prescription Safety Glasses will bc S 1 00 for 200 L S 120 for 2002
Standby Duty (Beeper) Compensation will be 9 hours of overtimc for the
te1l11 of the contract
Language will be added to allow the overtimc paid on holiday call outs
which fall on wcekends. for thc holiday itself. not thc obscrved day off.
This is for City recognizcd holidays only.
Language will be addcd to extend the severancc packagc lar carly
retircmcnt to allO\v for the utilization of funds. (65% of employee's
unused sick leave) to pay for health benefits to coordinate with the Social
Security retirement age for full benefits, as long as those individual funds
are available.

2002 with the aforementioned amendmcnts.
