COUNTY OF RAI\lSEY
STA TE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2001 SCORE RFCYCLlNG GRANT REQUEST TO
RAMSEY COlJNTY
\VHEREAS. Ramsey County is accepting applications for usc of SCORE funds to
improve recycling participation by the public; and
\VHEREAS. the City of Mounds Vic\\' is eligible to apply for a grant to providc
administrativc and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation among city
residents through education. mvareness. and incentives; and
WHEREAS. the City Council o[thc City of Mounds Vic\\' has determined that this is an
appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation benefits the public
health. safcty. and welfare of the community as a whole.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED that the City Council of the City of MOllnds
View approve the application for 2001 SCORE funding (attachmcnt) and authorize acceptance of
any allocated funding.
