RESOLUTION 5486
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JIM ERICSON AS COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR FOR A SIX-MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD
WHEREAS, Community Development Director Rick Jopke is resigning from his
position effective November 17, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Jim Ericson, City Planner, is knowledgeable about the affairs of the
Community Development Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
appoints Jim Ericson as the Community Development Director for a period of six
months. Upon satisfactory review of his performance by the City Administrator,
Mr. Ericson will be appointed to the position permanently.
BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED THAT Mr. Ericson will be compensated at a rate
of 115% of his current salary (Resolution 5427) until such time as the Hay points
and salary for the Community Development Director position are reconciled. Mr.
Ericson will be compensated retroactively to a start date of November 20,2000
for any change in salary resulting from the Hay evaluation.
