RESOLUTION NO. 5491
ADOPTING THE 2001 PROPERTY TAX LEVY AND GENERAL FUND BUDGET
CIT'{ OF MOU~DS VIEW

\VHEREAS. the City Council conductcd numerous meetings, madc available detailed copies of
said budgct and published summary infoll11ation on the proposed 2001 Budget in the City newslettcr;
and
\VHERL\S, the City Council held a public hearing in accordance with the State of Minnesota Truth
In Taxation requirements on the proposcd 2001 Budget on December 4,2000; and
WH EREAS, when the Fire Improvement Bonds of 1991 were issued. the City's 200 I debt service
paymcnt was schcduled to be 578.765, howcver, due to changes in the allocation of costs between
participating citics. Mounds View's actual 2001 debt service cost on said bonds will be S68.84().
NO\'" THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by thc City Council ofthe City of Mounds View that
thc following appropriations for the calendar year 200 I are hercby approved:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that following property tax levy for 2001 is hereby approved:

Fire Improvemcnt Bond levy

and the City Clerk-Administrator is hcrcby directcd to notify Ramsey County and thc State of
Minnesota of said 2001 propcrty tax levy.
BE IT FlJRTHER RESOLVED. that Attachment A. the 200 I budget and long tcrm financial plan
detail are hereby incorporatcd with and included as part of this resolution.
Said resolution was dcclared to have bcen duly passcd and adopted this 11 th day ofDecembcr. 2000.
