CITY OF MOU~DS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAi\'ISEY
STATE OF MI~~ESOT A
RESOLUTION APPOINTING KATHI OS:\'1ANSON AS TilE CERTIFIED BUILDING
OFFICIAL FOR THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIE\V
\VHEREAS. the City of Mounds View has entered into an agreement \vith the Spring
Lakc Park-Blaine-Mounds Vic\\' Fire Department for building official services for the City of
Mounds View; and,
\VHEREAS. the contract requires that an indi\'idual be named as the certified Building
Official; and.
\VHEREAS, Kathi Osmanson is duly cel1ificd by the State of Minnesota Commissioner of
Administration to perf 01111 Building Official services; and.
WHEREAS. the Unifol111 Building Code holds that the Building Official. when acting in
good faith and without malice in thc dischargc of dutics, has a suit brought against them, shall not
be held personally liable; moreover, that the City shall indemnify said official from any judgment
resulting therefrom.
NO\V. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View that Kathi Osmanson. through contract with thc Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View Fire
Departmcnt, is the certified Building Official for the City of Mounds View; moreover, that the
City of Mounds View agrees to indemnify the aforcmentioned official. who, when acting in good
faith and without malice, has a judgment rendcred against them.
Adopted this 11 tll day of December. 2000.
