Resolution 5497
Whereas, the City of Mounds View has an annual Retainer Agreement for
General Legal Ser/ices with Kennedy & Graven, and
Whereas, the terms of such Agreement are defined in a letter from
Kennedy & Graven dated October 14,1999, and
Whereas, the term of the Agreement is 12 months and is up for renewal,
and
Whereas, page 4, number 12 of the aforementioned letter provides for an
extension to the A~Jreement, and
Whereas, at its December 4, 2000 work session the Mounds View City
Council discussed this Agreement and directed staff to extend the terms of the
current agreement until the City Council is able to adequately review its options,
and
Whereas, the City Administrator will provide the City Council with an
analysis of the current service, options and recommendations at the February,
2001 work session,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Mounds View
extends the terms and conditions of the Retainer for General Legal City Attorney
Services, as outlined in the Kennedy & Graven correspondence dated October
14, 1999 until such time as the City Council has adequately reviewed its options.
