RESOLUTION NO. 5515
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE
RECONSTUCTION OF COUNTY ROAD H2
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Mounds View has initiated the process
established by the current Street Policy for considcration ofreconstruction of County Road H2
and;
WHEREAS, two infomlation meetings were held to present information to the property
owners regarding various methods of rehabilitation and estimated assessment cost and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds Vie,\', has surveyed the property
owners which abut County Road H2 for thcir input in considering a reconstruction project of the
street and;
WHEREAS. the majority of the residcnts responding to the survcy have indicated their
desires to reconstruct the street, conforming with Municipal State Aid (MSA) Standards and;
WHEREAS. a feasibility study is necessary and required to continuc with this project
and;
WHEREAS. a feasibility study will provide a means to obtain a cost estimate which shall
set forth the cost of the improvement in both unit price, total cost, and an estimated mock
assessment roll.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View authorizes the City's consulting engineers, SEH to proceed with development of a
feasibility study for the reconstruction of County Road H2 from County Highway 10 to
Pleasantview Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT. the feasibility study will provide a means to
obtain a cost estimated which shall set forth the cost of the improvement in both unit price, total
cost. and an est i mated mock assessment roll.
